Plan & billing
Free forever for one screen, Pro when you need more — and a promise that your congregation is never cut off.
The two plans
- Free — £0: 1 screen, 5 slides, prayer times, Jumu'ah and Ramadan, urgent notices, the public page and congregant app, the calendar feed and printable timetables. No donations.
- Pro — £25/month or £250/year (two months free on the yearly plan): everything in Free plus unlimited screens and slides, playlists and schedules, donations with Gift Aid and GASDS claims, campaigns, committee roles and audit log, and Raspberry Pi fleet tools. 0% platform fee — Stripe's own card fees only.
Every new masjid starts on a 3-month Pro trial — no card needed. When it ends you subscribe, or choose Continue on Free on the billing card to keep editing at the Free limits.
Subscribe & manage
Subscribe, switch between monthly and yearly, update your card or cancel — all from Settings → Plan & billing via Stripe's secure checkout and customer portal. To go Free while a Stripe subscription is still live, cancel it in the portal first, then use Continue on Free. Billing runs on WeMasjid's platform account; it's completely separate from the Stripe account that receives donations.
Promotion codes
Enter a WeMasjid promotion code in Settings → Plan & billing before you continue to payment (or on the Stripe payment page). It applies to the first payment or for as long as the code specifies — the billing card shows the discounted renewal price once active.
If a payment fails
Stripe retries the card automatically and we show a banner in the dashboard. There's a 14-day grace period before editing is paused, and the owners are emailed two weeks before a trial ends, the day before, and on the day.
What never gets locked
If a subscription lapses, only editing pauses. Your screens keep showing prayer times, your public page stays up, and donation pages keep working while the plan is Pro — we never punish the congregation for an admin or card problem. Overview and Settings remain accessible so you can subscribe or switch to Free. The Free plan itself is never locked.
