Branding

Your logo and colours, everywhere the masjid shows itself — TV screens, the public page, the app icons and print.

Masjid logo

Upload the masjid's logo under Branding → Masjid logo — a square PNG or SVG, at least 512 × 512 px, on a transparent background. On a 1080p TV it shows at Small, Medium or Large (86 / 119 / 151 px tall).

For a JPG or PNG on a solid background, Remove background is on by default: it detects the background colour from the corners and makes it transparent — with a tolerance slider if the edge comes out too tight or too loose — and trims empty margins. You get a before/after preview on a checkerboard, with a warning if the file is small or very non-square. SVGs pass straight through.

Placement is either in the header next to the masjid name, or in the top-right corner over the slide pane (portrait screens always keep it in the header). It's the only logo — there are no per-screen logos — and the same one appears on your public page and the app icon.

Screen look

Branding → Screen look is a compact list of styles with a live preview of every screen — name and orientation — that updates as you click. Choose Panel (recommended — the Masjidbox-style white timetable panel in your brand colour, with a flat colour slide pane), one of the classic five (Midnight, Andalus, Ottoman, Sahara, Minimal), or one of six more (Editorial, Swiss, Glass, Calligraphic, Signal, Light).

Optional colour overrides and the screen language live here too. Playlists can still override the colours — for a Ramadan look, say — and screens choose a layout only: the look stays the same across layouts.

Panel options

When Panel is picked, its own card sits under Screen look and saves separately — saving one card never undoes the other:

  • Colour — 12 swatches (Blue, Royal, Navy, Teal, Green, Emerald, Olive, Maroon, Burgundy, Plum, Charcoal, Walnut) or a custom hex.
  • Dark mode — a charcoal timetable panel instead of white.
  • Pattern on the slide pane — lattice, hex, sebka, arabesque, zellij or none, at Subtle / Normal / Bold (always faint enough that slide text wins).
  • Divider between panel and slides — fine saw-tooth, arches, ogee, rope, notch or none.

Public page look

Branding → Public page sets the colour the Brand Deep look is built from: your public page and the congregant app sit on a darkened version of it with a gold accent — headings, buttons, the giving widgets, the install sheet and the app's own screens. The same colour themes the “add to home screen” app icon. Only the public side goes dark — the admin dashboard stays light.

Everything else masjid-wide — name, address, charity details, verification — still lives under Settings. Branding is purely how things look.
